ATLANTIC- Watching 3 Tropical Waves
1) A Tropical wave extends from 05 north and 36 west to 13 north and 42 west. It is moving west at 20 knots.
A Saharan air layer remains to the east and north of the wave axis
somewhat limiting the development of thunderstorms and showers at this
time.
2) Tropical wave extends from 05 north and 53 west to 16 north and 49 west moving west at 15-20 knots. This wave
continues to coincide with a broad upper-level enlongated area of low
pressure (trough) over the central Atlantic, and is also mostly embedded
in a Saharan air layer - so there's no significant thunderstorm
development at this time.
3) Tropical wave extends from 11 north and 94 west to 22 north and 91 west moving west at 20 knots
CENTRAL NO. PACIFIC - between 140°W and 180. No tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday morning.
